The Australian Surf Bus is stoked to announce it is entering an epic new chapter bringing the ever growing surf tourism market to the Sunshine Coast!
New five day camps will go on sale today connecting travellers with the sun, surf and sensational wild camping the Coast has on offer.
After a successful two years of running surf tours along the East Coast, the Australian Surf Bus is excited to enter its next phase of business with the launch of its new Summer surf camps!
With huge interest in active, healthy and eco-friendly tourism on the rise, Australian Surf Bus director Seb Higgins-George says surfing is the perfect way for adventure seeking visitors to enjoy this spectacular region!
The new five-day surf camps are perfect for those wanting a digital detox but also chasing that active holiday,” Mr Higgins-George said.
“We have really perfect beginner level waves here on the Sunny Coast and I can’t wait to show people my home and all the amazing qualities it has to offer.
“This is especially exciting heading into the Brisbane Olympics and Paralympics in 2032, as surfing has become a featured sport for the events, I’m hoping both the Surf Bus Tours and Camps can capitalise on that.”
The Australian Surf Bus was launched by Seb in 2024 and has sky-rocketed in popularity through its East Coast surfing and camping tours.
Travellers from all over the world have come to Australia especially to jump on the Surf Bus.
In 2025 the venture was named a Best of Queensland Experience by Tourism and Events Queensland.
All customers also have a tree planted in their name to help the company reach its ultimate goal of complete sustainability.
The Surf Bus is regarded as a great economic booster as it uses local surf schools to conduct its lessons, purchases from local grocers/cafes and camps at local campsites.
