Australia’s only surf camp on wheels is back on national television.
After featuring on Channel 7’s Weekender earlier this year, the Surf Bus has been approached by the station’s national adventure show; The Great Outdoors.
The show shot with the Surf Bus crew down at the beautiful Alexandra Headlands on the Sunshine Coast.
The Surf Bus is working with Robbie Sherwell’s XL Surfing Academy, who were incredible to team up with to deliver an epic lesson.
Joining the team from Channel Seven’s camera crew was pop star Phil Burton.
Burton is the frontman for Human Nature, who toured with Michael Jackson.
“It was really cool to have the crew from Channel Seven down here today,” Surf Bus director Seb Higgins-George said.
“It was great to have Phil jump in the wetsuit and head out there for a paddle, he rips!” he said.
The show comes at a great time for the Australian Surf Camp on wheels.
“We’ve seen a drop in bookings we think is due to the war,” Mr Higgins-George said.
“Hopefully getting on this show the Great Outdoors will turbocharge a few bookings to help us find our Mojo again.”
The Australian Surf Bus is a fantastic way to travel and experience the REAL Australia.
The tours travel to the best surf spots in Australia to explore the wildest spots with the best waves.
