It’s been another wildly spectacular year for the Australian Surf Bus!
We’ve battled through cyclones, heatwaves and unprecedentedly low winter seasons, all while laughing along the way!
Despite the hurdles, a late season spike has seen us sell out our remaining surf trips for 2025!
In 2024 we also sold out the rest of the year from September onwards which was a strong finish.
Business has been a challenging yet enjoyable experience.
It has been near impossible to predict the peaks and troughs throughout the entirety of the business.
The biggest lesson has definitely been to expect the unexpected.
Things never go to plan is about the only surety in this industry; which if I’m being honest is exciting.
Quite rightly the Australian Surf Bus is slowly becoming one of the best experiences in Australia.
More bookings are stemming from word-of-mouth rather than social media which was a major goal of mine.
We also achieved a viral video on Tik Tok which is absolutely not my area of expertise and made the Tourism Australia Hotlist.

Recently we have been quite lucky with our wildlife spotting, with customers finding an extremely rare albino kangaroo, koalas and even the last remaining East Coast emu family.
